The Liar

February 12-22

Marquette Theatre presents contemporary playwright David Ives' adaptation of Pierre Corneille's 17th century The Liar. The Liar tells the story of Dorante who has arrived in Paris seeking happiness but he has one flaw: he cannot tell the truth.  The Liar tangles the audience in an impishly wicked web of lies. Marquette alumnus Adam Stockhausen receives Oscar nomination

Marquette alumnus Adam Stockhausen received an Academy Award nomination for his production design in "The Grand Budapest Hotel." Stockhausen was previously nominated for his work on the 2013 film "12 Years a Slave." Stockhausen graduated from Marquette in 1995 with a degree in theater arts. 

Marquette graduate lands role on ‘Gotham’

Nick D'Agosto graduated from Marquette in 2002 with degrees in history and theater and recently earned a role in FOX's "Gotham" as Harvey Dent

Diederich Students Win an Emmy

Diederich College of Communication students, Daniel Schergen, Greg Ideran, Elizabeth Gehringer and Francesca Reed, received an Emmy from The Chicago/Midwest Chapter National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Nov. 1, for their documentary "Greg Kot: Never Too Loud, Never Too Old".
