A Look at Our Graduate Program
As a student in our graduate program, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with faculty members who are leaders in their respective fields. In addition, downtown Milwaukee offers a rich, urban landscape for your studies, and the Diederich College fosters relationships with some of the city's top communication professionals.
The Master of Arts in Communication degree starts with foundational courses in research and theory, and our program offers the flexibility to choose from two specializations: Communication
professions and society and Digital communication strategies. To complete the program, you may choose between a thesis track and a professional project, regardless of your specialization.
Whether your goal is to get placed in a competitive Ph.D. program, create a professional portfolio for hiring managers, or participate in the intellectual enrichment that a master's degree offers, your graduate advisor will help you every step of the way.
