Managing Director, Saban Capital Group

Joel Andryc currently serves as Managing Director at the Saban Capital Group (SCG), a private investment firm specializing in the media, entertainment and communications industries. SCG's portfolio of investments include stakes in companies such as Univision Communications, Inc., (the top Spanish language commercial broadcast group in the United States); Paul Frank Industries; and Saban Brands. In addition to these duties, Andryc recently served as the President of Vortexx, the last remaining Saturday morning kid's block controlled by SCG and airing on The CW Network.

Prior to joining SCG, Andryc was Executive Vice President of Programming at the Fox Family Channel later rebranded as ABC Family Channel, where he was responsible for all kid series including live-action, animation, reality and all original music specials. Prior to joining Fox Family, Andryc worked for Saban Entertainment as the key development executive who was instrumental in propelling the company's rapid growth and expansion into kid's programming. Before joining Saban, Andryc also held positions at Chuck Barris Productions, Goodson-Todman Productions, Viacom Enterprises, and Columbia Pictures TV.
